Our Nurture Room 1 is a dedicated provision designed to support children with additional needs. The environment is calm, structured, and free from unnecessary distractions, enabling children to feel secure, focused, and ready to learn.

The room caters for up to 12 children, staffed by five experienced practitioners, including a qualified SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). We maintain a lower staff-to-child ratio of at least 1:3, ensuring that each child receives consistent, personalised support.

This enhanced ratio allows us to effectively deliver targets and strategies set by external professionals and outside agencies. We work closely with families and multi-agency teams to ensure that every child’s individual support plan is implemented with care and consistency.

Our primary aim is to prepare children for the next stage of their education. We strive to ensure that children transition confidently into school with the appropriate support in place, including securing an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) where needed.
